Fine jewelry items other than jewelry built with a certified loose diamond cannot be shipped to Canada. Orders to Canada must have an item total of $1000 or higher. All prices and transaction amounts listed on this site are in US dollars. Orders to Canada cannot be placed through our online shopping cart.
To place an order, please call 1-888-254-9855.
Shipping:
Please note that free shipping does not apply to orders shipped to Canada. Orders to Canada are shipped via FedEx. Shipping and handling fees are calculated based on the item total and shipping destination, and are included in the Canadian Taxes, Shipping & Handling cost. (See the Canadian Order Calculator below.)
Shipping transit time for all orders should take no more than one day (if order is placed before 3 PM Eastern Time). Canada Customs may choose to inspect your package, which may cause a delay of an additional day.
Payment:
For your convenience, we offer several methods of payment. Your bank or credit card company will process all charges in US funds, as required by 4LooseDiamonds.com.
- Use your American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card issued through any US or Canadian bank.
- Arrange a bank wire payment through your bank and receive a 1.5% discount. (Please note that both the issuing and receiving banks will charge fees that must be included in the wire amount.)
Easy Returns:
To help ensure you make the right choice, we offer a very flexible return policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return your item within 30 days for a full refund. Just call a diamond and jewelry consultant at 1-888-254-9855, and they will give you detailed instructions. Taxes are refundable if your item is returned through the proper channels. Please note that the shipping and handling fee is non-refundable.
Ring Size:
Because of the complicated paperwork and additional taxes and duties levied each time a jewelry item crosses the border, 4LooseDiamonds.com does not offer ring resizing. If you find that the ring you purchased needs to be resized, call a 4LooseDiamonds.com diamond and jewelry consultant at 1-888-254-9855 for options.
Product Availability and Pricing:
If you're interested in an item that is currently on back order, call us and we can tell you when the item will be back in stock. Occasionally, with the volume of orders we receive, an item can go out of stock before we're able to post notification to the site. If this happens, we will notify you personally so we can help you find another item.
Shipments are Insured:
We fully insure each order all the way to you. That means that when your order is in transit to you, shipment is always risk-free. For added security, it is our policy that a signature is required for all 4LooseDiamonds.com orders, regardless of any signature waivers you may have with FedEx.
Alternate Shipping Address:
If you prefer, we can ship your order to an address other than your billing address. As a security precaution, we require that your alternate shipping address be on file with your credit card company. This step helps protect you from fraudulent charges to your credit card.
Diamond Certificates:
When you order a loose diamond, we ship it to you with the accompanying diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). These grading reports are lengthy, detailed documents created by diamond grading experts at one of two highly-respected diamond laboratories — making it very expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included with each returned diamond. If you do not include both the diamond grading report and appraisal with your return, you will be charged a replacement fee.
Sales and Price Reductions:
At 4LooseDiamonds.com, we always offer the best value by providing the lowest possible price. All our prices are final.
Information on Our Web Site:
At 4LooseDiamonds.com, we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalog is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, color and size may vary slightly.
Our objective is to provide you with as much information and detail about your prospective purchase as possible so that you can see the beauty and shape of a particular item. In compliance with industry standards and US FTC regulations, 4LooseDiamonds.com states that carat total weight in all purchases may vary 0.05 carats from stated weight.
On the 4LooseDiamonds.com Web site, we display the dimensions of our products based on the information received from our manufacturers. For any convex or rounded jewelry item, the width and length stated in the product description is taken by the manufacturer, prior to the rounding of the metal in the manufacturing process, which may lead to a discrepancy in any measurements taken after this process.
Also, for each item containing multiple diamonds, we list the average grade and measurement for color, clarity, and carat weight. These averages are calculated by adding all grades or measurements that comprise the inventory with regard to that particular piece of merchandise, and determining the closest mean.
Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of our diamond and jewelry consultants here or 1-888-254-9855.
Position on Conflict Diamonds:
4LooseDiamonds.com is committed to offering high-quality diamonds, sourced from the world's largest and best suppliers. As responsible citizens and jewelry merchants, we share the public's concern regarding conflict diamonds. At 4LooseDiamonds.com, we only purchase our diamonds through respected, well-established, legal channels.
In April 2003, President Bush passed a bill adopting the Kimberley Process that requires all US diamond retailers to buy diamonds from manufacturers who have documentation warranting that the merchandise was obtained through legitimate channels. Today, the US Customs Service is actively enforcing the Kimberley Process requirements as diamonds enter American ports.
4LooseDiamonds.com supports the Kimberley Process. Each diamond cutter we work with obtains diamonds exclusively from legitimate sources, and they comply completely with the Kimberley Process requirements. At 4LooseDiamonds.com, we will continue to support and promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
